For You: Offset Carbon Emissions

After calculation, choose how you want to offset your annual CO2 equivalent emission. Simply select the offset form (reforestation or carbon credits) and project with which you most identify.

Practices:

• Each tonne of CO2 equivalent emitted will be offset through the retirement of a carbon credit or reforestation and maintenance of native tree species. For each offset, a digital certificate is issued on your behalf, containing calculated emissions, offset way and the possibility to share the document on social networks.

Offset forms:

• Reforestation
• Carbon credits from renewable energy projects (wind farm, solar farm, replacing fossil fuel, etc.)
• Carbon Credit from environmental services (Payments for Environmental Services - PES, Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation - REDD)
